If you are a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) or Master of Social Work (MSW) or equivalent degree in Social Welfare / Social Welfare Administration / Tribal Development, the Maharashtra Government has launched a major recruitment drive that puts your specialized skills at the heart of providing tribal welfare services. As per the Tribal Development Department Recruitment 2024, a total of 611 vacancies have been advertised, out of which the following four posts are reserved for trained professionals in social work.

Selection Process
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – 200 marks, 120 minutes. Sections: Marathi (50), English (50), General knowledge (50) and Reasoning/Aptitude (50)
- Document Verification – If claiming reservation, applicable documents such as caste certificate, MSW/BSW degree, EWS/NCL certificates and disability or sports certificates will have to be submitted.
- Final Merit – Candidates who score more marks in the CBT exam will be selected in the merit list.
